路透6月1日 - 西班牙加利西亚地区政府周一表示，中国上汽集团600104.SS计划在当地建设一座汽车工厂，这将成为该集团在欧盟的首个生产基地。
加利西亚自治区主席鲁埃达 (Alfonso Rueda) 表示，地方政府已将这一项目列为战略优先事项，预计初期投资额约为2亿欧元。
该项目还包括一个物流枢纽，目前仍需中央政府批准相关外商直接投资。
上汽集团旗下拥有MG品牌，该品牌在欧洲颇受欢迎，并重点发展电动化动力系统。
当地政府在声明中表示，位于费罗尔港的这家工厂预计将创造约1,000个直接就业岗位，并带动更多间接就业，同时将使用大量本地生产的零部件。
鲁埃达称，如能按时获得全部审批，建设将于明年启动，工厂预计在2028年投产。
第二期工程完工后，该厂年产能将达到12万辆汽车。(完)
