Shares of Generac Holdings were higher after it said it has secured an agreement to supply backup power generators for an hyperscale operator's data center network.
Shares were up 7.7% ahead of the morning bell at $290.00.
The energy technology solutions and power products company said early Tuesday that it won the deal with the unidentified client after a rigorous qualification process that included performance testing, quality reviews and audits of its broader vendor base.

Big tech companies, such as Meta, Amazon and Google, are racing to secure reliable energy supplies to keep their massive networks and facilities running.
