Capgemini's Investors Need Reassurance -- Market Talk
Dow Jones
Yesterday
0550 GMT - Capgemini needs to demonstrate earning strength to regain investors confidence, Berenberg's Meha Pau writes in a note. The French consulting and technology group's capital markets day last week provided some clarity on AI-related concerns as the company projects that AI will drive an additional around 5% growth over the medium term. However, "Capgemini's investors remain focused on broader, sector-level indicators, and it will take a few more quarters of evident earning strength to restore investor confidence in vendors within the IT Services sector," the analyst says. Shares closed at 101.95 euros on Friday. (najat.kantouar@wsj.com)
