Thailand's Manufacturing Activity Up in May, S&P Global Data Shows

Thai manufacturing output expanded in May, S&P Global said Tuesday.

The latest seasonally adjusted S&P Global Thailand Manufacturing PMI came in at 52.6, compared with 52.7 in April. The reading was the slowest improvement in manufacturing performance since July 2025.

While the output indicator rose at its weakest since May 2025, Thai manufacturers reported a stronger increase in new order intakes and improving business sentiment.
