BP周一宣布，已同意将其在西澳大利亚Browse液化天然气项目中所持股份的5%出售给韩国GS Energy。

　　此次出售后，BP在该项目中的持股比例降至39.33%。Browse项目由伍德赛德能源主导，预计耗资487亿澳元，旨在开发澳大利亚最大的未开发天然气资源。

　　BP在声明中表示，引入GS Energy这一致力于推动Browse至西北大陆架项目进展的合作伙伴，体现了公司在投资组合管理方面的严谨态度。BP及其合作伙伴仍看好该项目的长期价值，包括其在支持澳大利亚及地区能源安全方面的作用。

　　Browse项目计划为澳大利亚最大的LNG出口设施之一西北大陆架供气，但其进展因监管审批延迟而受阻。此次交易需获得监管及合资企业批准。

　　BP此次出售股份之前，日本Inpex公司已于上月宣布收购中国石油天然气集团公司在该项目中10%的股份。伍德赛德表示将考虑行使优先购买权以匹配Inpex的报价。

　　BP于2023年收购壳牌所持股份后成为该项目的最大股东。目前BP由前伍德赛德首席执行官Meg O‘Neill执掌。BP未披露此次向GS Energy出售股份的价格。GS Energy拒绝置评。
