加鼎华阜合作银行（Desjardins Group）经济学家Tiago Figueiredo表示，在美债市场面临有关美国债务可持续性问题之际，活跃的全球资产管理公司正在其投资组合中增加更多加拿大公共部门债务（包括联邦和省级债务）。

　　Figueiredo说，投资者“似乎将加拿大公共部门久期视为美债的可靠高质量替代选择，尽管其市场规模要小得多“。

　　他补充说，较长期加拿大政府债券中包含的期限溢价在发达世界市场中处于最低水平之列。他指出，加拿大公司债券的配置仍远低于被动基准权重。
