京东在香港举行618发布会，宣布将在6月18日，港岛湾仔开设首家京东MALL线下门店，门店经营空间3万尺，约2800平方米，主营黑白家电、3C电子，采取“港采港销”模式。
京东集团副总裁、首席经济学家沈建光称，京东目前已在港投资350亿，计划未来三年在香港本地带动10000人就业，布局200个线下门店，合作1000个头部品牌。希望为香港本地生态及民生做贡献。
早前，京东已收购香港超市“佳宝”布局本地零售业务，更名为“京东佳宝”，门店达100家。
目前京东在港布局的业务还包括：京东APP港澳区，主推“4小时达”或“次日达”；京东物流，主推“送装一体”；京东健康，主推保健品销售及在线问诊。
京东集团副总裁、五星电器负责人于鲲表示，京东将香港作为出海的桥头堡，定位“服务本港 服务湾区 接轨国际”，除了618开设香港门店外，还将于上海、沈阳同步开店。
