路透东京6月5日 - 日本数字化大臣松本尚周五警告称，如果日本无法跟上AI技术的快速发展步伐，在AI时代可能会沦为一种新型殖民主义的受害者。
“我希望许多日本民众能够意识到，我们必须推进AI发展，否则最终将沦为‘AI殖民地’，”松本尚表示。
松本是在为一项法案辩护时发出这一警告的。该法案拟修订日本的个人数据保护法，允许AI开发者在未经个人同意的情况下，使用包括医疗和犯罪记录在内的数据来训练模型。
他在记者会上表示：“此次修订的重点在于，随着AI发展日新月异，日本绝不能落后。”部分在野党以数据泄露风险为由，对政府起草的该法案表示担忧。
该法案上周已在众议院通过，目前正在参议院进行审议。(完)
