消息面上，美银证券研报指出，中国内地新的境外投资指引虽然并非直接针对房地产行业，但可能增加资金出境的难度与延迟，或会收紧香港市场流动性并抑制买家价格预期，尤其影响大额物业成交。美银预期，今年余下时间楼价升幅将会放缓，维持全年楼价升约10%的预测，但认为楼价升15%或更进取的预期不太可能实现。该行将九龙仓集团目标价下调9%至26港元，同样忧虑高端住宅需求放缓。
