Quantum Space, which is developing a maneuverable spacecraft for defense and commercial space operations, unveiled plans to go public through a combination with blank-check company Inflection Point Acquisition VI.

The companies on Monday said the transaction gives Quantum Space an equity value of about $1.2 billion, including roughly $253 million held in Inflection Point's trust account and $300 million from a fundraising known as a private investment in public equity, or PIPE, led by Inflection Point Asset Management.

The companies said Quantum Space equity holders will own about 50% of the combined company, which will use the Quantum Space name and expects to be listed on Nasdaq under the symbol QSPC.

The deal is slated to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.
