三星电子周三宣布，将参与美国基因组技术公司Element Biosciences扩大后的E轮融资，向其追加投资1.75亿美元，从而成为该公司最大股东。

　　三星电子在新闻稿中表示，此次投资是继2024年7月参与Element Biosciences的D轮融资后的又一战略加码。

　　Element Biosciences总部位于加州圣迭戈，致力于开发用于生物医学研究、药物研发、临床研究、农业及其他生命科学领域的下一代DNA测序和多组学平台。

　　三星电子表示，此次投资符合其拓展精准医疗和数字健康技术领域业务的战略目标。

　　三星电子移动业务联席首席执行官卢泰文在一份声明中表示：“三星电子在人工智能、医疗器械和数字健康领域的专长，与Element的创新基因组分析技术相结合，有望产生协同效应，助力塑造个性化医疗的未来。”

　　三星强调Element的下一代基因测序技术和多组学能力是其重点关注的领域。

　　多组学是一种能够同时分析多种生物数据的技术，除了DNA之外，还包括RNA和蛋白质，从而更全面地了解遗传信息在生物体内的功能。
