Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) confirmed "significant" down-dip and southern strike extensions to the emerging gold system at the Forrest prospect, with the receipt of results from phase four initial diamond core drilling program at the Miriam project, part of the company's Coolgardie gold projects in Western Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The gold system at the prospect now extends across a north-south strike of about one kilometer and to a vertical depth of 250 meters, remaining open both along strike and at depth, with results including 33 meters at 1.44 grams per tonne grade of gold from 135 meters, the filing said.
Air-core drilling is ongoing at the project to test key regional prospects, with results expected in July, per the filing.
