市场关于 SpaceX 与特斯拉合并的猜测愈演愈烈，SpaceX二号实权人物肖特韦尔在接受 CNBC 记者摩根・布伦南采访时表示，两家公司整合 “或许能让埃隆轻松一点”。
肖特韦尔承认两家企业业务具备协同契合点，但她称自己当前的工作重心是火箭量产、拓展宽带覆盖以及完成国际空间站载人任务。
“特斯拉和 SpaceX 未来必然存在诸多业务协同空间，” 她说道，“两家公司长期发展目标高度趋同，但眼下我的首要任务是保障 SpaceX 各项业务稳定运转。”
CNBC 此前曾报道，特斯拉与 SpaceX 早已共享工程师等各类资源，马斯克也已和团队探讨过两家企业合并的可能性。马斯克同时出任两家公司董事，并且持有 SpaceX 85% 的投票权。
