ChainCatcher 消息，据报道，LG Electronics 已选择以太坊 Layer 2 网络 Arbitrum 开发一条新区块链，用于支持广告和媒体相关场景。消息发布后，Arbitrum 原生代币 ARB 单日上涨逾 5%。该网络将用于数字广告的投放、购买、出售和管理，并记录用户与广告内容的互动情况。
Arbitrum 由 Offchain Labs 开发，采用 Optimistic Rollup 技术，旨在为以太坊提供更快、更低成本的交易体验。这并非 LG 首次涉足区块链。此前，LG 曾通过旗下 IT 服务部门 LG CNS 推出企业级区块链 Monachain，并开发加密钱包 Wallypto；其也曾推出 Art Lab NFT 市场，但该平台已于去年关闭。
