Mission Produce (AVO) reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP net income late Monday of $0.01 per diluted share, down from $0.12 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.05.

Revenue in the three months ended April 30 fell to $290.9 million from $380.3 million a year earlier.

Three analysts expected $256.3 million.

The board approved a stock repurchase program of up to $100 million over the next 36 months.

The company's shares fell 5.9% in after-hours trading.
