ChainCatcher 消息，Strategy CEO Phong Le 周二接受 CNBC 采访时回应公司自 2022 年以来首次出售比特币引发的批评，称此举是有意为之的有限测试，旨在展示运营灵活性而非放弃持币信念。5 月 26 日至 31 日间，Strategy 以均价 77,135 美元出售 32 枚 BTC（约 250 万美元），仅占总持仓的 0.004%，但引发市场强烈反应。
Le 列出三个出售理由：证明公司具备必要时出售的能力、确认内部处置流程完全可用、以及捕获税务亏损机会。他强调出售并非因财务困难，公司无需卖币支付 STRC 优先股股息，同期仍净买入约 1,500 枚 BTC。Le 坦言最激烈的批评来自散户与“加密无政府主义者”，机构股东并未因此不安。
“当出售比特币对普通股股东有利时，我们就会出售。”目前比特币报价约 61,600 美元，较去年 10 月高点 126,198 美元下跌逾 40%，MSTR 股价较 52 周高点下跌约 67%。Strategy 截至 5 月底持有 845,256 枚 BTC，并已于 6 月初恢复购买。
