HBM Holdings Partner Doses First Patient in SKB378 COPD Study

HBM Holdings (HKG:2142) said its partner, Windward Bio, dosed the first patient in a phase II study of SKB378 for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, according to a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
The drug, also known as HBM9378/WIN378, is also being evaluated in a separate phase II/III asthma study, with initial phase II data expected in the second half of 2026.
The first phase III study of the drug in asthma is expected to begin in the final quarter of 2026.
In a separate filing, HBM Holdings said Chinese regulators accepted the investigational new drug application for HBM7004.
The firm is seeking approval to begin trials of the drug in patients with advanced solid tumors.
