Pennon Shares Hit by Below-Market-Forecast Expectations -- Market Talk

1037 GMT - Pennon's shares are down after the South West Water owner guided for a lower than market forecast adjusted Ebitda growth for the year ahead. The FTSE 250-listed utility company expects fiscal 2027 underlying Ebitda to increase 5%-10% compared with the 519.2 million pounds reported for the year ended March 31. This forecast is significantly below the 18% growth currently in Bloomberg consensus, RBC analysts write. Shares are down 3.2% at 491.20 pence. RBC has an outperform rating on the stock and 650 pence target price. (ian.walker@wsj.com)
