EVT (ASX:EVT) said Velocity Frequent Flyer launched a partnership with Event Cinemas and Village Cinemas, under which members can earn a Velocity point per eligible AU$1 spent on Velocity movie tickets and candy bar purchases and redeem points instantly using the points + pay system, according to a Thursday statement.

Movie tickets are available from 2,000 Velocity points, and the partnership launched at 70 cinema locations and over 600 screens across Australia.

Its shares rose 1% in recent trading on Thursday.
