A project by Global New Material International's (HKG:6616) subsidiaries has passed the scientific and technological achievement evaluation conducted by Zhongke Hechuang (Beijing) Scientific and Technological Achievement Evaluation Centre.

The project related to the R&D of long-wearing cosmetic-grade synthetic mica powder was completed by units Zhejiang Hongzun Technology, Guangxi Chesir Pearl Material, and Luzhai Chesir Pearl Mica Material, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The certification of evaluation confirms that the project's overall technology reached domestic leading and international advanced levels.

The project was initiated to develop an integrated production process for long-wearing synthetic mica powder that addresses industry issues of low yield, poor hydrophobicity, the tendency to agglomerate, and weak alkalinity leading to skin discomfort.
