智通财经APP获悉，6月11日，印尼中央银行(印尼央行)、香港金融管理局(香港金管局)及中国人民银行(人民银行)签署合作备忘录，同意建立合作框架，以促进印尼与香港于双边交易中使用印尼盾及离岸人民币(双边货币)。
在本次合作备忘录的基础上，将构建一个双边货币交易框架，便利印尼与在港企业及机构在跨境贸易与投资等方面以印尼盾及离岸人民币进行直接兑换及结算，从而提升跨境交易效率，并推动区内货币的更广泛使用。
印尼央行和香港金管局将积极推进双边货币交易框架的筹备工作，包括订立全面的运作指引。双方亦将委任当地数家银行为特许交叉货币做市商，参与此框架。
有关运作程序、具体时间表及参与银行的详情预计将于今年稍后公布。
香港金管局总裁余伟文表示：“本次合作备忘录标志着三地央行在深化货币及金融合作方面迈出重要一步。建立香港与印尼之间的双边货币交易框架，更是推动区内货币及人民币使用的重大突破，突显香港作为离岸人民币枢纽的独特优势。”
