Wallbox Secures $12.1 Million in Funds Through Canadian Clean Fuel Program; Shares Up Pre-Bell

Wallbox (WBX) said Thursday it received about 10.5 million euros ($12.1 million) in funds through Canada's clean fuel credit framework for 2025.

The funds were generated through eligible electric vehicle charging activity across its AC chargers in Canada, the company said.

Under Canada's clean fuel regulation, charging sessions that displace fossil fuels can generate credits linked to reducing transport-related emissions.

In line with the requirements for the program, funds received will be reinvested in the region through incentives and initiatives designed to accelerate EV adoption, Wallbox said.

Shares of Wallbox rose more than 12% in recent pre-bell activity Thursday.
