Fiserv Appoints Takis Georgakopoulos As Chief Executive, Reaffirms Guidance

Fiserv (FISV) said Monday it named Takis Georgakopoulos as chief executive officer to succeed Mike Lyons, who stepped down to lead Truist Financial.

Georgakopoulos will immediately join the board of directors after recently serving as co-president, leading the technology and merchant divisions, Fiserv said.

The company still expects fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings to be between $8 to $8.30 per share. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $8.12.

Shares of the company were down 7% in Monday premarket activity.
