Ballard Mining Confirms Discovery at Western Australia Gold Project, Shares Up 8%

Ballard Mining (ASX:BM1) said drilling at its regional prospects at the Mt Ida gold project in Western Australia confirmed a discovery at the Pluto prospect, following proof-of-concept drilling around historical underground workings in late 2025, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of five meters at 10.2 grams-per-tonne grade of gold from 98 meters, seven meters at 3.7 g/t grade of gold from 19 meters, as well as one meter at 13.8 g/t grade of gold from 76 meters.
The Ayla discovery was extended by 200 meters, with results including seven meters at 2.8 g/t grade of gold from 53 meters.
Its shares rose 8% in recent trading on Monday.
