Virgin Australia Confirms First Boeing 737-10 Delivery in Late 2027; Shares Up 11%

Virgin Australia (ASX:VGN) said it expects to take delivery of its first Boeing 737-10 in late 2027, marking the next phase of the airline's fleet renewal program and the arrival of what will become the largest aircraft in its fleet, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company said it has 10 firm orders for the 737-10, with the larger aircraft to provide additional capacity and flexibility across its domestic and short-haul international network, supporting its strategy to operate an efficient, organized fleet.
The company's shares rose past 11% in recent Monday trade.
