欧洲央行管委卡兹米尔周一表示，欧洲央行已经迈出了遏制价格压力的第一步，但越来越明显的是，仍需采取更多行动，欧洲央行上周四近三年来首次加息，试图在美以对伊发动战争所引发的能源成本飙升进一步蔓延至整个欧元区之前遏制通胀。卡兹米尔在文章中表示：“现在不是自满和犹豫的时候。更高的能源成本很可能会持续存在，比许多人原先希望的时间更长。即便美国与伊朗刚刚宣布和平框架协议，中东地区所造成的损害也无法在一夜之间消除。”他表示，如果欧洲央行不采取行动，能源价格上涨带来的第二轮效应将会显现。“我们已经迈出了遏制中期价格压力的第一步，但任务尚未完成。根据当前掌握的信息，越来越明显的是，货币政策还有更多工作要做。”
