古巴国家主席迪亚斯-卡内尔12日谴责美国进一步收紧对古石油封锁，指责美方的行径“毫无底线”可言。

迪亚斯-卡内尔在社交媒体上发文指出，美国禁止其他国家向古巴提供燃料后，又将制裁矛头指向古巴国家石油公司，对与该公司开展贸易的各方发出新的威胁。他表示，美国企图用“荒谬借口”为其罪行辩护，其真实目的是让古巴人民窒息，迫使他们在饥饿、匮乏和疾病面前屈服。

当天，古巴外长罗德里格斯也在社交媒体发文说，美国对古巴的石油封锁直接影响古巴的食品和药品供应，全古巴人民都在“遭受惩罚”。美国公开宣示其政策的目的是要在古引发社会动荡。

美国国务卿鲁比奥11日宣布对古巴国家石油公司实施制裁。

美国长期对古巴实施经济、金融封锁和贸易禁运。今年相继对委内瑞拉、伊朗发起军事行动后，美国总统特朗普又对古巴发出威胁，称“下一个是古巴”，并进一步加大对古巴施压，实行石油封锁。
