0811 GMT - Zalando is gaining market share as European fashion retailers face a further shift toward online sales, RBC Capital Markets analyst Richard Chamberlain writes in a note to clients. The German online retailer improved its online offer after acquiring smaller peer About You, Chamberlain says. Meanwhile, Swedish group H&M lacks top-line momentum, while Primark has a challenging sales outlook, he adds. At the same time, Chinese ecommerce groups like Shein are grappling with headwinds from higher air freight costs due to the Iran war as well as EU import duties, the analyst says.
