6月16日，理想汽车创始人、董事长兼CEO李想发文回应“理想为什么不多开发布会”。

　　李想表示，现在行业有一种“发布会通胀”的现象。

　　他认为，发布会越开越多，但每一场的信息密度越来越低。一款车从预热、亮相、预售、上市、改款，能开好几场发布会，但其实用户的耐心是有限的。

　　“我对发布会的标准很简单：如果你不开这场发布会，用户会少知道一件重要的事，那它就该开；如果开完又没有给用户更多有价值的信息，那它就不该存在。”

　　李想提到，最近理想汽车三场发布会的主题都是完全独立的。“有人嫌我们发布会开太少、太短。说实话我宁愿用户觉得没看够，也不想让用户觉得‘怎么又来了？’。”

　　此外，他还透露，6月23日，“全新理想L8发布会”也将至开一场。同时，在6月19日端午节，理想汽车全新5座旗舰SUV正式开启试驾。
