Dateline Resources (ASX:DTR) said the Australian Federal Court judge presiding over US1 Critical Minerals' (ASX:USC) claim against Dateline and its CEO has reserved his decision on the case, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

US1 Critical Minerals is attempting to procure the transfer of 252 potential rare earth elements tenements in the US, and a final hearing on the matter concluded on Tuesday.

The judge did not provide any timetable for the delivery of a verdict, Dateline said, adding that it has "voluntarily agreed to maintain the status quo in relation to the 252 tenements" until a judgement is issued.

Dateline shares surged 19% in recent Tuesday trade.
