Lockheed Martin Receives $223.9 Million US Navy Contract Modification

Lockheed Martin (LMT) unit Rotary and Mission Systems in Virginia won a $223.9 million modification to its US Navy contract to exercise options for engineering design, development, and production assistance in support of sound navigation and ranging systems, the US Department of Defense said in a late Monday statement.
The majority of project work will be performed at the facilities in Manassas, Virginia, and Clearwater in Florida, according to the statement.
The project is expected to be completed by September 2027, according to the Department.
