智通财经APP获悉，香港证监会宣布，香港计划于2026年8月3日推出五年期国债期货。经评估市场需求及宏观环境后，五年期国债被选为首先在香港交易所买卖的国债期货合约的相关资产。香港交易所一直就须获证监会批准的国债期货的推出作必要准备，并将另行公布合约细节。
近年来，国际投资者稳步增持中国国债，尤其是通过债券通的渠道。截至2026年5月底，外国投资者持有的中国国债规模约为人民币2万亿元。在香港推出国债期货将为国际投资者提供有效的离岸对冲工具，满足其日益增加的国债风险管理需求，从而便利投资者进一步参与内地国债市场。
随着国债期货在香港推出，香港作为离岸人民币中心及人民币资产风险管理枢纽的角色将进一步加强。香港证监会行政总裁梁凤仪女士表示，国债期货的推出，适逢资产管理公司构建多元化策略，对人民币计价固定收益资产的投资需求增加。这同时彰显了香港作为区域内固定收益及离岸人民币枢纽的关键角色。
香港证监会主席黄天祐博士表示，推出国债期货亦是香港在金融领域对接国家“十五五”规划、进一步推进与内地金融市场互联互通的重大举措。此举也是香港助力人民币国际化，并发展为全球固定收益及货币市场中心的里程碑。
