Alligator Energy (ASX:AGE) reported a maiden inferred mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 12 million pounds of triuranium octoxide at the Plumbush deposit, part of its Samphire uranium project, in South Australia, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

This will increase the project's total MRE by 67% to 30 million pounds from 18 million pounds. A drilling program with multiple drill rigs is planned for the remainder of the year, in order to both expand the Samphire MRE and convert the inferred resource into the measured and indicated classifications.

A bankable feasibility study is currently underway and is expected to be released in mid-2027.
