General Dynamics Mission Systems (GD) was awarded a $116.6 million modification to a previous Navy contract to exercise options for the production of MK 54 MOD 1 lightweight torpedo sonar assembly kits, fleet exercise section instrumentation sub system, and related hardware and engineering support for the MK 54 Lightweight Torpedo Program, the US Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The contract is expected to conclude by April 2029.
