今日，据Insider Gaming与知名爆料大神Tom Henderson报道，索尼旗下工作室Bungie或将于今年夏季启动大规模裁员，近半数员工或将面临离职风险。
据Insider Gaming报道，Bungie今年夏季将迎来大幅裁员，受波及的员工比例预计高达50%。据了解，Bungie目前在岗员工约800人，按此比例估算，本次裁员人数或将达到400人，裁员规模创下工作室空前纪录。
此番裁员风波的核心原因，源于工作室两大核心作品的发展遇冷。一方面，《命运2》已正式停止内容更新，官方推出最终版本迭代后，彻底终止了后续内容开发工作。即便大量玩家自发请愿、挤爆服务器抗议，索尼依旧未放行《命运3》的开发计划，该系列后续发展彻底陷入停滞状态。
另一方面，Bungie全新力作《失落星船：马拉松》的整体市场表现未达预期，商业化营收表现疲软，未能成为支撑工作室业绩的全新主力项目。
两大核心主力项目双双陷入发展僵局，且工作室目前暂无全新研发项目补位，800人的庞大团队规模与现有业务体量严重不匹配，这也让今夏的大规模裁员几乎成为定局。
截至目前，Bungie与索尼官方均未官宣本次裁员相关计划，具体裁员名单及详细细节仍有待官方后续公布。
