ChainCatcher 消息，河北高院发布打击非法集资典型案例，某男子以 “元宇宙” 概念包装投资项目向公众推广 “逸尚联合社区” 旗下 “Newmateworks” 平台虚拟商品投资项目，诱导群众参与投资，直接介绍 19 名投资人在平台投入资金 1,539.36 万元，其中已返还 110.14 万元，尚有 1,429.22 万元未返还，法院审理认为，本案假借 “元宇宙” 等新兴科技概念作为掩护实施诈骗式营销，违反国家金融管理法律规定，数额巨大，行为构成非法吸收公众存款罪，判处陈某有期徒刑五年四个月并处罚金。
