花旗此前发布研报称，澳门赌收或遇到阻碍，原因是夏季世界杯将摊薄部分澳门玩家的投注预算。此外，由于去年此时张学友在澳门举办演唱会，因此今年的比较基数会较高。该行维持今年6月赌收预测为190亿澳门元，意味按年下降10%。
里昂也表示，澳门博彩业第二季正值季节性淡季，加之世界杯赛事长达39天，预计将分流部分旅客，可能导致第二季行业EBITDA出现按季下跌。该行下调澳门2026年博彩总收入增幅预测1个百分点。此外，金沙中国与永利澳门均在首季业绩中上调了资本开支指引，可能迫使美高梅中国及澳博控股同样加大资本投入以维持竞争力。该行预测行业总资本开支大幅增加，导致自由现金流受压。
