Charter Hall Bull Expects More Funds Under Management Growth -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Jun 17

0018 GMT - Citi raises its price target on Charter Hall by 15% to A$26.50/share, anticipating more growth in funds under management after it completed a sale-and-leaseback deal on one of Sonic Healthcare's labs. Analyst Suraj Nebhani points out that Charter Hall has raised A$6.4 billion of equity in FY 2026 so far. Most of this is in its CCRF convenience retail fund, which has yet to be deployed and will deliver growth in funds under management, Citi says. It thinks transactions like the sale-and-leaseback arrangement for Sonic's Brisbane lab form another potential pool of acquisitions, especially in an environment of rising debt costs. Charter Hall is down 2.0% at A$23.15. (david.winning@wsj.com; @dwinningWSJ)
