上周随着SpaceX首次亮相股市，嘉信理财迎来了其55年历史上最繁忙的五个交易日之一。
“回想过去50年里我们经历过的各种市场事件，这次IPO能跻身前五名确实令人难以置信，”嘉信理财首席执行官Rick Wurster周四在接受采访时表示，“我认为这源于散户能够切身感受到我们经济中的创新水平。”
SpaceX上周五进行了史上规模最大的IPO，其招股书显示，嘉信理财与Robinhood Markets、富达投资、SoFi Technologies以及摩根士丹利旗下的E*Trade一道，被列为向散户投资者提供股票的五大零售投资平台。这些平台的客户在本次IPO中至少获配一股股票。
Wurster周四表示，SpaceX吸引了各个年龄层和不同背景的散户投资者需求，嘉信理财处理了约14万个与首日交易相关的客户电话。本月早些时候报道，在SpaceX上市日前夕，嘉信理财将其IPO团队的规模扩大至原来的10倍。
“如今这些公司上市前的等待时间要长得多，因此在它们未上市期间，已经创造了巨大的价值，”他说，“而人们都渴望参与其中。”
