6月20日，针对近期部分自媒体关于“L3/L4级自动驾驶强制国标”的片面解读与不实传言，小鹏集团相关负责人通过社交媒体，对“L3必须双冗余、L4必须加激光雷达”等谣言进行了严正澄清。
近日，随着《智能网联汽车自动驾驶系统安全要求》强制性国家标准（报批稿）进入公示阶段，网络上出现了大量关于该标准的歪曲解读，甚至断言纯视觉方案将被强制淘汰。
对此，小鹏方面明确指出，相关流传说法纯属毫无依据的假新闻。经查阅公开可查的文件原文及编制说明，其中并未出现“激光雷达”等具体硬件类型的文字表述，相关谣言既无任何条款依据，也与编制说明的解释相悖。
针对此次误读，小鹏方面进一步对自动驾驶强标的底层逻辑进行了基础科普。自动驾驶强制性国家标准本质上是一项“结果导向”的标准，其核心在于规定自动驾驶系统应当达到的安全水平，例如“能可靠探测目标、能应对性能衰退、能在各种场景下执行动态驾驶任务”等。然而，关于“如何做到”这些目标，标准将具体的技术路径与研发空间留给了企业。正如电池安全国标不会具体限定使用三元锂还是磷酸铁锂电池，国家标准划定的是安全底线，而非干预企业的技术路线选择。
