0252 GMT - Jardine Matheson is likely able to exceed its annual total shareholder return target of 9%, say Macquarie Capital's Jayden Vantarakis and Ari Jahja in a note. They believe the target is a reachable minimum yardstick given the conglomerate has introduced long-term incentive plans. Its other targets, such as a $4 billion capital recycling goal and at least 5% annual dividend growth, should support its annual total shareholder return plan, they add. The company also aims to boost the performance of Astra, with Jardine's ownership of the Indonesian subsidiary likely to be raised over time as the company conducts buybacks, they note. Their top pick among Jardine's listed portfolio companies is Hongkong Land. Macquarie Capital retains its outperform rating and $84.00 target price on Jardine's Singapore-listed shares, which are flat at $63.53.(megan.cheah@wsj.com)
