三星电子公司周二表示，该公司已开发出业界速度最快的通用闪存存储 （UFS） 5.0 解决方案，旨在使人工智能 （AI） 模型能够直接在设备上运行，而无需网络连接。

　　三星表示，其下一代UFS 5.0闪存将为智能手机和其他移动设备提供业界领先的性能，预计将作为存储解决方案应用于这些设备。

　　三星电子内存产品规划负责人Choi Jang-seok表示：“在设备端AI时代，存储设备正在演变为定义人工智能体验的关键驱动因素。”

　　该公司表示，UFS 5.0闪存的量产计划于今年第四季度开始。

　　三星电子称，这项技术为下一代移动存储器市场树立了新的标杆。

　　生成式人工智能正迅速从云端转移到设备端，导致本地需要处理的数据量急剧增长。因此，存储介质也从主要用于存储数据转变为支持人工智能计算的核心基础设施。

　　据介绍，三星UFS 5.0最高顺序读取速度为10.8GB/s，最高写入速度为9.5GB/s，均较上一代UFS 4.1提升一倍以上，可进一步缩短大型应用和端侧AI模型的加载时间。

　　在性能翻倍的同时，新方案的能效较三星UFS 4.1提升超过40%。
