Samsung Electronics Adopts ChatGPT Enterprise, Codex for Employee Use

Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) will deploy ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to all employees in South Korea and to employees in its Device eXperience (DX) division worldwide, OpenAI said in a Sunday release.

The tools will be used across a range of functions, including software development, marketing, product development and manufacturing, the release said.

Several firms in South Korea, including LG Electronics (KRX:066570) and LG Uplus (KRX:032640), are also using ChatGPT Enterprise, OpenAI APIs, and Codex.

Shares of Samsung Electronics fell nearly 5% in recent trade.
