Qantas Could Re-Rate on Ultra Long-Haul Delivery -- Market Talk

0006 GMT - Qantas's bulls at Morgan Stanley see potential for the market to re-rate the carrier's international business as it delivers on the promise of its ultra long-haul project. MS analysts tell clients in a note that Qantas's latest presentation on its move to fly nonstop between Australia and locations in Europe and the U.S. has made them more confident. They think that consumers will be receptive to the idea of paying between 15% and 20% more for a ticket in order to cut three to four hours from their journeys. The premiumization of the aircraft should also support demand, and the unique nature of the project reduces risk, the analysts add. MS has an overweight rating on the stock and a target price of 10.60 Australian dollars.(stuart.condie@wsj.com)
