Metcash (ASX:MTS) reported Monday fiscal 2026 underlying earnings of AU$0.245 per share, down from AU$0.251 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of AU$0.24 per share.
Revenue for the 12 months ended April 30 was AU$17.35 billion, compared with AU$17.32 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected AU$17.39 billion.
The board declared a final dividend of AU$0.095 per share, unchanged from the prior corresponding period, payable Aug. 26 to shareholders on record as of July 15.
The company has suspended its dividend reinvestment plan with immediate effect, applying to the final dividend.
