Renascor Resources Starts Graphite Processing at South Australia Plant; Shares Up 6%

Renascor Resources (ASX:RNU) started processing graphite through its hydrofluoric acid-free purification flowsheet using reagents at its purified spherical graphite (PSG) demonstration plant in South Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Activities are on track, concentrating on validating the operation of the integrated purification flowsheet under current conditions, with the current phase expected to extend into the next quarter, the filing said.
The company plans to establish an integrated Australian mine-to-PSG operation based on graphite sourced from its Siviour deposit in South Australia, per the filing.
Shares rose 6% in morning trade on Monday.
