Deep Fission (FISN) said late Monday it has closed its public offering of 2.5 million shares at $16 apiece, raising $40 million.
The company said it granted its underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional 375,000 shares.
Net proceeds will be used for general working capital and corporate purposes, the company said. The stock began trading on Nasdaq on June 18.
