Safe Pro (SPAI) said Tuesday it has won a $1.3 million subcontract to integrate its AI-powered real-time threat detection technology into the US Army's autonomous Unmanned Ground Vehicles, or UGVs.
Under the subcontract, received from a US defense prime contractor, Safe Pro said it will integrate its computer vision and machine learning AI pipeline on board autonomous UGVs to detect threats such as landmines, cluster munitions, unexploded ordnance, and ambush drones in real time.
