Judo Bull Reiterates Buy Call on Strong Execution -- Market Talk

Dow Jones
Jun 24

Judo's bull at Citi reiterates his buy rating on the stock, telling clients that the Australian business bank appears to be executing well on its opportunity. Analyst Thomas Strong acknowledges investor concern about near-term sentiment risk due to a slowing economy, but writes in a note that Judo has recently demonstrated strong traction in savings deposits, debt reduction, and a capital-relief securitization. Strong thinks this lowers the risks on Judo's pathway to hitting scale over the longer term. Citi keeps a target price of 2.20 Australian dollars on the stock. Shares are at A$1.50 ahead of the open.
