智通财经APP获悉，据报道，软银支持的东南亚二手车交易平台Carro正考虑最早于本月在美国秘密提交首次公开募股(IPO)申请。知情人士透露，这家总部位于新加坡的公司正与顾问合作，可能筹集高达5亿美元的资金。
知情人士表示，Carro还在评估通过新加坡交易所推出的“环球上市板”，在新加坡进行二次上市的可能性。该机制允许市值超过20亿新元(约合15亿美元)的企业仅需提交一套上市文件，即可同步实现在纳斯达克与新交所的双重上市。
知情人士补充说，相关讨论仍在进行中，发行规模和时间等细节仍有可能发生变化。Carro表示，公司会定期评估潜在的融资计划，并在适当的时候发布最新消息。
据报道，总部位于新加坡的数据中心运营商DayOne Data Centers Ltd.也在考虑在新加坡和美国上市。
Carro成立于2015年，运营着一个二手车交易平台，同时提供融资、保险和售后服务。该公司业务遍及多个市场，包括新加坡、印度尼西亚、澳大利亚、日本、泰国、中国香港和台湾。
除软银外，Carro的投资方还包括新加坡政府投资公司(GIC Pte)和Cool Japan。
